SPA INSTRUCTIONS
SPA CHEMICAL START-UP

Fill spa
Balance spa water [use test kit or test strips]
 Adjust alkalinity [100ppm-130ppm] First
  Use easy acid to lower or easy alkalinity [alkalinity up] to raise one tablespoon at a 
  time.  Continue every 2-3 hours till water is balanced. Then adjust PH level.
 Adjust PH level [7.2ppm-7.8ppm]
  Use PH minus to lower and PH plus to raise one teaspoon at a time.
Add 6 ozs of protect plus [stain and scale]
Add 6 ozs of enhance [activates bromine]
 Enhance is not necessary with chlorine
Run spa for 24 hours.
After 24 hours add 4 ozs of Free Shock [non chlorine shock]

Add 2-3 ozs of bromine [chlorine] concentrate to the water.
This will bring the bromine [chlorine] level up.

Put 2 bromine [chlorine] tablets in the floating dispenser or in skimmer basket.

Weekly
 Adjust PH and Alkalinity levels
 Shock spa with 4 ozs of Free Shock [non-chlorine shock]
 Add 1-2 ozs of Protect Plus [stain and scale]
 Add bromine [chlorine] tabs to your dispenser.

Clarifiers will help the spa water remain clear.

If the water is cloudy or after heavy usage use 4 ozs of Free Shock.

Clean your filters monthly.
 The filter cleaners work very good at removing the oils out of the filters.

If bromine [chlorine] levels are low add bromine [chlorine] concentrate.

Drain and fill spa every 4 months.  More often with heavy usage.

NOTE:
YOU MUST KEEP PH AND ALKALINITY IN BALANCE.
IF YOU DO NOT IT WILL DAMAGE YOUR EQUIPMENT.
